Strive Health is more than a career. It’s an opportunity
to make a difference and change the healthcare landscape
for generations to come. What do you Strive for?
Why I Strive: Hear from Co-Founder and CEO Chris Riopelle
“I Strive for the 661,000 Americans with kidney failure, the minority groups that have a higher risk of kidney disease, the individuals sitting in hemodialysis chairs three times a week, the families affected by end-stage kidney disease (ESKD), every patient I have care for, my uncle who experience a misdiagnosis that led to ESKD and my cousin who started hemodialysis at age 39 due to complications from uncontrolled hypertension.”
- Tracy Jones
Lead Nurse Practitioner, Market Operations
“I Strive to support those who save lives. It gives me a fundamental purpose and hope that we can change a broken system while providing empathetic care.”
- Sean McBee
People Operations & HR Systems Associate
“I Strive for my grandmother. She had chronic kidney disease and chose not to do dialysis. When hospitalized, she was given two options: dialysis through a temporary catheter or one week to live. She chose to stick by her values and was headstrong with choosing her own path. I Strive to continue giving options to patients and help them create their own path toward the best quality of life.”
- Voranan Pongquan
Director, Care Model Design and Innovation
“I Strive for my friend who crashed into dialysis at the ER, was started on hemodialysis and waited to be on the transplant list for seven years before receiving a kidney.”
- Kristen Marjama
Sr. Director, Clinical Informatics
“I Strive for my late uncle and the thousands of others who are afflicted by kidney disease so they can receive care they deserve before it’s too late.”
- Amit Patel
Sr. Manager, Market Strategy
“I Strive for the patients we serve in underserved communities. My passion for kidney care comes from my two aunts who were on dialysis. I saw their vibrancy, characters and vitality taken away by end-state kidney disease. I vow to continue fighting for awareness, prevention and being part of the system of solutions that provides the best care for people with chronic kidney disease.”
- Jason Frisby

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
Transformational outcomes in kidney care are only possible through diversity at all levels. We derive innovation and ideas from our varied experiences, intentionally building a team that represents the population we serve.
Fairness and respect are an expectation. We regularly monitor all our practices and policies to ensure our outcomes are in line with our aspirations.
We will only achieve our mission if we foster an inclusive environment that fully harnesses our collective knowledge and experiences. We are committed to building a culture where all feel welcomed, and ideas, creativity and innovation are valued.
Our Core Values
Care for Others First
At Strive Health, we care for others first. Our values drive us forward as a company, as a team, and as individuals
We are able to provide superior patient outcomes through constant innovation. In an industry with a lot of change- in policies, in care options, and more- we lead the way.
Change happens. We overcome obstacles and welcome change together.
The kidney care industry is complicated. We spend (a lot of) time to understand the complicated so we can improve it and make it easy to understand for everyone else.
We celebrate our successes as a team.
